Autumn is a funny season. It feels as though it takes forever to make an appearance. Then, you turn around and see this. Arches of amber and orange protecting the streets. Leaves falling to the ground, covering the wilting grass.
It's as if this is the season where mother nature gets to relax. She puts aside the housework for a little while. She lets her hair hang down and her true colors shine. She takes that one last deep breath before going about the magic of winter.
It's a lovely time of year.
