It's a new season and that calls for a new list. I included most of my favorite autumn activities into this list. Some have already been checked off, while others are patiently waiting there turn.
Tell me, what are your favorite activities during autumn? Link it up if you've blogged it.

Birthday wishes
Lists are fun. No really, I love lists. Is there such a thing as a professional list maker? Because I think I need that career.
Until I figure that out, here's a short and sweet birthday wish list of mine for no other reasons than my birthday being next week and well, I still love lists.
Red TOMS
Holga Camera
Green Kitchenaid Mixer
Is there anything particular on your own wish list that you've been eyeing for a while?

seven in eleven
We all knew this post was coming. The one where I outline my goals for the coming year. Yes, goals. I won't be calling them resolutions because, to me, the word resolution makes it feel like we're meeting in the middle of a battle field, shaking hands on a compromise. And a new year is not about compromise.
Forgive my cheesiness, but my new year is going to be about making changes and taking chances. A very cool thing.
Truth. Last year, I didn't make any goals. I feel like I sort of missed out. Sure, most new year's goals are abandoned, but I didn't even try. This year, I'm taking a chance and having a go at it.
Jamie posted about her goals for this year along with a fun new project, 7 in 11. Seven larger goals sounded just right to focus on for the year.
Looking back at this list, numbers four and five make me laugh. Hopefully, I complete those in reverse order i. e. decorate the bedroom before I find a new living space. You can expect more to follow on the blog about each of the individual goals. I'm so excited to get started!

So here they are, my goals for 2011.
1. Shoot in manual mode on my camera with confidence.
2. Weekly art journaling.
3. Healthier living. More exercise & less processed food.
4. New job + new living space.
5. Finish decorating my bedroom. It's about time.
6. Open an Etsy shop
7. Declutter. So I don't end up on an episode of Hoarders.

Winter Checklist
I love the start of a new season. You never quite know what the next few months hold. Before I jump into the new year, I thought it would be fun to make a little winter checklist!
1. Take a walk in the falling snow.
2. Sip on a lot of hot cocoa.
3. Snowball fight!
4. Buy a new pair of snow boots.
5. Make paper snowflakes.
6. Go sledding.
7. Watch Holiday Inn & Beautiful Girls
8. Clean out my closet.
9. Crochet a new scarf.
10. Build a snowman.
What are your plans for this new season?

in my bag: mini travel edition
I'm on a little, mini road trip to Michigan this weekend, so I decided to share what I included in my bag for the long drive.
Clockwise from top left:
Clockwise from top left:
1. Crafty Superstar - wonderful reading material for the road
2. My Wreck This Journal - yup, I'm still chugging away at this project
3. My favorite pair of sunglasses
4. Sunscreen - because it's not just for sunny days
5. Headphones - for use with my phone/mp3 player
6 & 7: Scissors & a tape runner to use with my journal
Somehow, my pink sharpie didn't make the cut in this photo, but I brought it along too.

Funny habits & guilty pleasures
A couple of days ago, Elsie posted a list of her funny habits and guilty pleasures, and I decided to play along. Here's a little list of my own!
What are some of your funny habits or guilty pleasures?
1. I bring a jacket or sweater with me everywhere I go, even if it's 100 degrees outside with a good chance of sunburn.
2. Juice boxes. Yes, I know most are full of sugar and bad things, but they're cute & tasty too.

3. I do not like talking on the phone at all. I rarely answer my own. Phone calls are just awkward.
4. Holiday candy. Between Halloween & Easter, I tend to come home with quite a few bags of candy. The pretty packaging gets me every time.
5. Naps are a no-no for me. I have this weird idea that if I take a nap, I won't be able to accomplish as much in my lifetime. That may also be why I stay up so late but wake so early.
6. My laundry tends to stay in the dryer until I need it, or until it is evicted by the next load of laundry.
7. Scissors and socks do not wish to be my friends. I can't keep a pair longer than a month it seems. This makes me sad.
8. S'more flavored anything- Real s'mores. Candy bars. Milk shakes. Cereal. Doesn't matter. I love it all.
9. I cannot sleep in a room of silence. There has to be a fan or constant noise to lull me to sleep.
10. Lists are one of my favorite things! I make them for every little reason.
